The Thiam Siew Avenue new freehold condo plot stands out for its distinctive history. Comprising two freehold land parcels in a private estate originally owned by the late Mr. Wee Thiam Siew, the site features pre-war, single-storey, semi-detached houses and bungalows built in 1939 for rental income. Mr. Wee successfully renamed Thiam Siew Road to Thiam Siew Avenue in the 1940s.

Following Mr. Wee Thiam Siew’s passing in 1972, the properties were held by Thiam Siew Avenue Investments and Wee Thiam Siew & Co, benefiting the Thiam Siew family. Despite the abolition of the Rent Control Act in 2001, the family continued to lease the properties. The land parcels were sold to a joint venture between Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments on 19 November 2021. The en bloc price is approximately $1,488 per square foot per plot ratio, including an estimated $284 million development charge.
